LNRE, BTL Cooperate to connect cargo service via Lao-Thai railway.

The MoU was signed between the Director General of LNRE, Mr Daochinda SIHARATH, and the Managing Director of BTL, Mr Borvornsint Tanthuwanit at the Laos-Thai railway station at Khamsavath village, Xaysetha district, Vientiane.
As the agreement, the two partners will work together to develop the Lao-Thai railway booking system and for goods transport connect to Lao - China railway effectively which is benefit in overall transport.
The Lao-China railway project is one project under strategy of Belt and Road Initiative of China which is connect transportation routes in Greater Mekong Sub-region countries, ASEAN countries and a strategic project that transform the Lao PDR in to land-linked center.
