Top 10 Countries that are Important Export Markets for Thai Fresh Mangoes <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The mango sticky rice trend that Milli created excitement to create a soft power trend has made the mango sticky rice product gain attention, resulting in merchants and vendors having a lot of customers coming to support them. <\/p>\n\n

In the world market, mangoes are considered a fruit that is increasingly popular, said Ms. Mallika Boonmeetrakul Mahasuk, advisor to the Minister of Commerce.<\/p>\n\n

According to the Department of International Trade Promotion, Thailand is currently the world’s 7th largest fruit exporter, and mangoes are one of the top 5 Thai exported fruits that are popular among foreigners.<\/p>\n\n

Especially the Asian market, which is the top trader in both sticky rice and fresh mango exports. <\/p>\n\n

In 2021, Thailand exported a total of 4,440.30 million baht worth of mangoes, divided into fresh mangoes worth 2,934.61 million baht, an increase of 50.25% from 2020, and canned mangoes worth 1,505.69 million baht, an increase of 21.12% from 2020. <\/p>\n\n

Early 2022 (Jan. – Feb. 2022) total export value was 403.51 million baht, of which fresh mangoes were worth 177.96 million baht, down 38.13%.<\/p>\n\n

Compared to the same period in 2021, canned mangoes were worth 225.55 million baht, an increase of 21.78% compared to the same period in 2021. <\/p>\n\n

  7. Russia<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Vietnam<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. United Arab Emirates<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. China<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    In terms of glutinous rice exports, in 2021, there was a volume of 150,570 tons, valued at 3,108.40 million baht, a decrease of 25.73% from 2020, and at the beginning of 2022 (Jan.-Feb. 2022), there was an export volume of 29,312 tons, valued at 594.56 million baht, an increase of 10.98%.<\/p>\n\n

    Compared to the same period in 2021, the main export markets were China, the United States, Laos, Vietnam and Japan. <\/p>\n\n
