Khon Kaen University is preparing to open a new course to support the high-speed rail job market in cooperation with China’s leading university, Southwest Jiaotong.<\/p>\n\n

The Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Khon Kaen Province attended a meeting on the High Speed Train<\/em> project in cooperation with foreign countries<\/em> to follow up on the progress of the new curriculum of Khon Kaen University, which is about to be offered. <\/p>\n\n Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, said about the curriculum (in summary) that:<\/p>\n\n Thailand’s mega-project, the Bangkok-Nong Khai route, is a Thai-Chinese collaboration that will connect Thailand to ASEAN and reach China. The project will be completed in 2025 and open for use in 2029.<\/p>\n\n The construction process is divided into 2 phases as follows:<\/em><\/p>\n\n The high-speed rail project also has a route through Laos, passing through Nong Khai, Khon Kaen and to Bangkok.<\/em><\/p>\n\n In carrying out the construction of this project, Khon Kaen University is aware of the importance of producing graduates with the potential to support this project.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n In addition to the construction of high-speed rail projects in Thailand, there are also construction projects in Myanmar, Laos, and Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n High-speed trains play a significant role in driving the economy and industry.
