Laos-China high-speed railway

As the Laos-China high-speed railway plan is set to open at the end of 2021, the Udon Thani Industrial Estate project has accelerated Phase 1, installing more than 70% of the public utilities on an area of 1,300 rai, ready to welcome investors to set up factories, with Chinese investors accounting for more than 70% of all investors.

This China-Laos high-speed railway will help increase the potential of cross-border/cross-border transportation between Thailand-Laos-China in one day. In addition, the Udon Thani Industrial Estate project, in addition to accelerating the construction of public utilities, has also built a dry port and distribution center to support the China-Laos high-speed railway project.

The China-Laos high-speed railway route is a route for transporting only products produced in the Udon Thani Industrial Estate Project, such as processed agricultural products from Udon Thani and the Northeast to China, a distance of over 850 kilometers, within 1 day, which, if compared to transportation from Laem Chabang Port to China, takes over 15 days.

This is a significant change in the traditional mode of transportation, making the movement of people and goods more efficient, reducing travel time and saving on transportation costs.
